This handbrake will work with any wheel on the market including G923 , Thrustmaster wheels , Fanatec , Logitech pro

How it works

SimRlink handbrake works with the Xbox One , Series S and X

Our handbrake operates as an extra controller to connect to the Xbox console. with 4 modes , the modes are changed via a push switch on small box that comes with the handbrake

each press of the button changes the mode the handbrake is in

Progressive mode :  outputs a variable value based on where the handbrake is through its travel so handbrake can be 35% , 50% , this gives more control of handbrake braking , this mode uses the Right

trigger input.

Button mode :

When in this mode pressing the push button will cycle between O button , Square button and X button as button used when you pull the handbrake

this mode is on / off like pressing a button on steering wheel.

The Handbrake uses our SimRlink™ wireless technology to connect to the handbrake.

Included is a SimRlink™ Hub + SimRlink™ handbrake

the SimRlink™ receiver plugs into the PS5 USB port and communicates with the blue box plugged into the handbrake.

Optional sequential shifter support (£5 extra )

Our SimRlink™ Hub now has added support for a sequential shifter if you choose this option

We now sell a sequential shifter, this is a PC shifter that we have converted to work with our SimRlink shifter box

and if you want to make your own sequential shifter then all you need is our DIY box (same used with shifter above you only need 2 switches 1 for up shift one for down the rest is up to you

Button box extra button support (upto 8 buttons) (£5 extra)

All our SimRLink boxes that come with our handbrakes support the basic 4 buttons square , X , O , triangle

with wireless buttons boxes ( in development )

we have extra support for the 4 direction buttons if you select the extra button support option at time of purchase

The Solution

https://youtu.be/bpPaBnJ_wms?si=DfbYwu9b9jjf42QT

New Product to help the Forza Horizon Throttle issueYou can now use this product to use your pedals as normal (while handbrake is active)

we have now corrected the lack of throttle pedal when handbrake is on , we use a Product called Open pedals (coming soon) this reads the throttle and brake values and sends them to the SimRlink receiver this will then replicate the throttle , this only works when the handbrake is on when it is off , your normal throttle will be restored , with this product you will also be able to display your throttle and brake values with displays / leds in future

DIRT 5 (We need to make a video for this setup go to inputs go down to handbrake and select it , when asked pull the handbrake this will assign Right trigger input)

Forza mode added (not progressive only works in button mode using A button)See below issue with Forza we have added an extra mode to our MSB handbrake module when the 2nd switch is down this is progressive operation and does not work with Forza Horizon when the handbrake is in button modeSwitch up (A button used ) it will handbrake is active (red led on) this is normal operationin this mode if you press the push button it will switch the handbrake to Forza mode Forza modeThis will cut the handbrake in and out very fast (when handbrake is active) this allows the below issue with Forza to not be as affected by it so you can regain control of the car even if the handbrake is held on , where as before you would have no controls until the handbrake was let go. We will try to get videos up of the issue and our Forza mode so the differences can be seen. The Forza Horizon issueForza Horizon 4 (works but we have noticed when using the handbrake all the wheel controls lock out until the handbrake is released and a pedal is pressed for example you loose steering (just stays centred in game) while handbrake is pulled , you loose throttle and also gear change soon as you let go of the handbrake the wheel controls come back in.(after you press a pedal for example throttle)we recommend when using the handbrake with this game to pull handbrake get sideways then let go and do it again if you need more handbrake to not leave it pulled back for very long as you will loose all steering and throttle

WRC Generations , 10 , 9

CarX Drift Racing (tested for progressive input)Click here for video (video is pro version so instead of B button you will have right trigger show up)

Grid Legends (need to fully test )

Need for Speed heat (use X button mode)

Games that do not work

Forza motorsport 7

asseto corsaassetto

corsa competizione (no handbrake in game)

Please check the games you wish to play allow this option in set up if not on our working / not working list, to test the games you wish to play , plug in a external controller , set the handbrake button to B or X or A and see if you get the handbrake if you press B , X , A  on external controller, if you do our handbrake will work if not you either need to map it correctly to the external on controller on B or X or A button or it will not work on external controller.

Programmable braking point

hold the push button down for 5 seconds , this will enter programming mode

move the handbrake back to where you would like the full 100% braking to be , then press the button once on the blue box , hold the position where the hanbdrake is , this will log the new full braking point

we snd handbrakes out with default of around half the handbrake travel as the full brake point

that you press to set your braking point from the braking point the MSB handbrake calculates the output from 100% (the chosen braking point) to 0 which is the rest position of the handbrake.
